Layering up this winter doesn't necessarily imply bulking up on binding and confining fabrics--especially if you're wearing this warm and lightweight Women's TKA 100 Microvelour Glacier 1/4-Zip Shirt from The North Face. It's a perfect pullover that you can wear as a baselayer for skiing, climbing, hiking or snowboarding in snowy conditions, or as a top during aprs ski or hanging out with friends in your cozy winter rental place. While cheap conventional fleece tops often pill beneath a ski sweater or middle layer, the Polartec Classic polyester Microvelour fleece keeps it all together without snags or frayed fabric--even through several seasons of regular use. The lightweight, highly breathable fabric facilitates drying, even if you're hanging it up with the rest of your laundered camping clothing in the summer backcountry. The North Face designed their Women's Women's TKA 100 Microvelour Glacier 1/4-Zip Shirt with a relaxed fit and an extended length with a one-inch drop tail in the back for added coverage. The Polartec Classic polyester Microvelour fleece is UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rated at 30 for moderate UV ray protection in bright alpine conditions.

I really like this top. I got the retro pink which is blindingly pink, but that's what I wanted. I like the length and the 1/4 zip. This top runs true to size and I ordered a medium because I wanted it oversized. Next time I will order a small which is what I normally wear in North Face. I am 5'5" and I am usually a size 4. Please make this top in some fun bright colors for next year.
Pros Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

When winter blankets the landscape and the temperatures drop, The North Face Women's Transit Jacket allows you to bundle-up and stay toasty warm without looking like a stay-puff marshmallow. This quilted, slim style parka is insulated with plush 600 fill goose down that covers from head to mid-thigh in cozy comfort while traversing the village, taking on a friendly snowball fight, or snowshoeing your favorite trail. Providing exceptional mobility and warmth beneath its comfortable and stylish exterior, this snow jacket features an insulated, adjustable, hood with brushed chin guard lining that seals up tight in a pesky wind, and snaps-off for added style in moderate temps. This TNF jacket's two-way center front zip is protected with a snap-down weather flap closure to prevent arctic air from cutting through, and allows for convenient venting when jumping in a cab. Storing essentials in the internal media pocket, warming your digits in the hand pockets, and stashing the house key on the clip in front pocket, this down parka keeps you winter organized. Take your winter wardrobe up a notch with the functional and fashionable Women's Transit Jacket from The North Face.

I am pleased with the look and the price of this jacket. I am 5'5" and a size 4ish. I usually wear a small in North Face. This jacket is a little big through the chest. I plan to keep the coat as it fits well enough and the price was good.

You don't have to camp, climb or hike to find excuses for wearing these great-fitting lightweight Women's TKA 100 Microvelour Pants from The North Face. The soft Polartec 100 Micro Fleece fabric retains thermal warmth without the bulk associated with cotton sweats or other athletic workout pants. Unlike most cheap fleece pants, the soft Polartec 100 Micro Fleece fabric resists pilling and holds together well even with plenty of use. Inside you'll find an internal drawcord for easy fitting. A hidden zip back pocket makes it easy to stow your hotel key card, spare cash or other small essentials during gym and park workouts. Whether you're relaxing at base camp or reading a book on your sundeck at home, the Women's TKA 100 Microvelour Pants are rated with a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of 30 for moderate sun protection--just in case you forgot to apply sunscreen.

These are great pants. I bought a pair last year and loved them. This years model is softer, longer, and a little larger than last year's, but I can make them work. I am 5'5, 120 lbs. I usually wear a 4 and these pants (size small) are roomy; I'm afraid the xs might be a too small. Super comfortable, snuggly pants, but still look good enough to wear everywhere even if they feel like pajamas!

I returned this coat because it was longer than I anticipated. I should have paid closer attention to the product description. The lining was really cool, but because I am barely 5'5" the coat hit at an awkward spot. If it were shorter I would have loved it. I plan to order a different Patagonia from this great company.
