If the weather is being indecisive, out-maneuver those clouds/sun rays with the 4-in-1 versatility of the Burton Pineview System Snowboard Jacket for women. The exterior shell jacket is waterproof and breathable with a snow skirt, a hood and Pit Zips to help regulate your temp and keep out the light fluffy pow. The interior liner jacket is filled with faux down insulation and is reversible so you can wear it into town in full wild/mild splendor.
I wanted to love this jacket, but unfortunately I didn't find it warm enough for a snowy day on the slopes. It fits a little larger, which I actually like, but here were the other things that made me decided not to keep it:
The inner jacket doesn't actually zip in to the outer shell - I wasn't crazy about this design, I have a Columbia 4 in 1 and the inner liner zips in, making it a well insulated jacket.
Velcro everywhere. There are a ton of great pockets, but unfortunately they are all velcro, except for the two hip pockets. This was really a pain when I was wearing glove liners, since they would stick to everything if I needed to retrieve my chapstick or adjust the volume on my ipod.
The jacket did seem water proof, had a helmet adjustment, and powder skirt and was overall really cute - but it wasn't quite warm enough and I had to really layer up underneath (3 shirts!). I also wish it had wrist gaiters, the wrists were really large which is good to get around your gloves, but also manages to let a lot of cold air and snow in too.
Pros Build quality, Great value
Cons: Bad design, Low performance

This jacket fits true to size and is the perfect spring rain jacket. I'm interested to see if it really is waterproof, I haven't been able to test it out since I purchased. My only dislike is the velcro on top of the zipper area, which is probably meant to keep rain out of the zipper, but it just manages to stick to everything. Otherwise, I can't complain!
